Management Team

Fariel Salahuddin is the CEO and Founder of Goats for Water. She is an energy specialist who works on energy projects & policy challenges in developing and emerging economies. She strongly believes that the solution to frontier and emerging economies’ energy crisis lies with community-led, renewable energy solutions. This endeavor is a product of this belief.

Jawaid Hussain is an entrepreneur with a philanthropic bent. He runs a number of businesses; ranging from a local bakery to cattle farming to construction. Jawaid understands the rural Sindh region and brings deep knowledge of local area, its politics and culture integral to GfW’s philosophy.

Advisory Board

Adnaan Tapal is the CEO of Tapal Wind Energy and also the founder and Director of Foundation Wind Energy which closed the first wind energy project in Pakistan. Adnaan has been invaluable in guiding GfW through its incorporation and strategy inception phase. He brings his abundant on-ground project development experience along with a healthy amount of skepticism to GfW strategy.

Keyzom T. Nogdup is currently serving as the country technical advisor on Financial Inclusion with the UNCDF in Papua New Guinea. She has been working on inclusive finance and lending since 2009. She co-founded Developyst, a tech start-up in Pakistan. Along with her abundant charm, Keyzom brings her knowledge of financial inclusion mechanisms and products to GfW’s advsiory board

Dan Potash has been working in energy & energy finance since 1984. He spent 2 years in Pakistan on projects including the rehabilitation of public thermal generation companies and a wind project. Dan is currently serving Chief of Party for Private Finance Advisory Network for Asia Program. Dan brings his sharp wit along with this vast energy experience to GfW’s advisory board

Jawad Qureshy is an ex-VC specialist with a track record of helping startups in both Pakistan and Canada. He has advised GfW since inception and is helping advise GfW on international outreach, financing and strategy.
